Armbian touch screen isuues

I just installed the latest armbian release  ( the desktop xenial I think). I can't get the touchscreen to work. The touchscreen I have is the one from the kickstarter ( i don't the specs right now). I added the gt9.. to the text file and I still get nothing. Is there another way?

To my knowledge, you need to add the gt9xxf_ts module and enable LCD in uEnv :

I did do that but still no touch screen.

Well if you did everything correctly and still aren't getting anything on the LCD then do join the IRC (in my sig) - easier to troubleshoot.
