double tap to wake > plasma mobile

plasma mobile's double tap to wake feature is os nifity, but it wors not consistently. Sometimes pinephone wakes on doeuble tap, sometimes it does not.
Is it possible to give it a bit more reliability?

I didn't know that is an option. Phosh version of Manjaro linux is more stable but I wonder if we can have this option on Phosh enabled as well?

Good question.  I noticed that double tap feature myself when I set up my new phone last week, and immediately also noticed how unreliable the Plasma Mobile UI is (that feature definitely, but also just about everything else).  I'd also be interested to hear if anybody has suggestions on improving the reliability.

I'm dumping p-boot-demo to an SD card right now to hopefully try out a bunch of distributions.  (I only have experience with Plasma Mobile on Manjaro at the moment so it'll be interesting to see how some other feel.)

After a few days using Phosh on Manjaro I think I'm sold on it over Plasma Mobile, with or without double tap to wake.

It looks like they track these kinds of ideas on their dev site (e.g. https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/phosh/-/issues/293) so you could possibly open an issue there, I figure.
