Trackpad firmware update

A new firmware for the trackpad has been released today, greatly improving precision, latency and responsiveness of the Pinebook Pro's trackpad.
The firmware has been tested on both new and older Pinebook Pros, ANSI and ISO, and no issues have been reported,
Flashing instructions in announcement in General Discussion on Pinebook Pro subforum.

A 2021 firmware? Further improvement would be appreciated, but whether "today" was the 3 May, 2021 post date or the 21 July, 2021 edit date, I can't find a repository or flashing instructions updated in 2021. Could you please put a link here and update the first post?

Second this - unless I'm utterly blind (in which case I also wouldn't see this thread update), I don't see any firmware updates anywhere in PBP General Discussion announcements.

We've got another touchpad firmware update, and this time the vendor has nailed it: updating the firmware makes the touchpad work great.   Please refer to this forum thread for further information about the new touchpad firmware.
