GDM3 Receiving call on login screen

Hello from a new and happy Canadian owner of a Pinephone.

I'm really impressed so far and I tried some distros. My choice is now Mobian and I installed Gnome Shell. I tried to find the answer to my question with no luck therefore, I'm asking in here.

Is there a way to answer a phone call from the login screen without having to actually log in user session? I really dont have the time to login with the password when the phone rings and, I miss the call. In GDM3.

Are you using a recent Mobian release ?

My phone has been giving me the option to 'answer'  incoming calls while the screen is 'locked' for quite a while now.

I am using this one: mobian-pinephone-phosh-20210517.img and I ran from command line the instructions here: https://wiki.mobian-project.org/doku.php...vironments I thought it was the more "stable" version available (im totally noob). So I guess I should get a newer version (from https://images.mobian-project.org/pinephone/nightly/) and give it a try? I will try on SD card (so noob that I did not even thought about trying a new release but, that is how you learn..)

Am curious are you running from eMMC or an sd card ?

I am running from eMMC. I tried a newer Mobian image on SD card and it worked once. After that, I always had to enter password and login to answer. I got back to Phosh as it does works perfectly fine for my needs. I might get back to Gnome Shell later on tho, the journey just begun.
