Xrdp is an X impmentations of Microsoft's rdp protocol. I have used it on several other linux software/hardware platforms and it works well. To install it on debian all I did was;
sudo apt-get install xrdp
That was it, then I connected with a windows RDP client and everything works.
sudo apt-get install xrdp
