OK I have a charger with a USB-C to USB-C cable. The outlet on the charger says "PD+QC" and is rated 5Vx3A which I want to use to charge the keyboard case battery, but also lists other voltages and currents. The voltages and currents for QC are different again.
I have read around a bit, PD is OK for the PinePhone keyboard case ( https://xnux.eu/pinephone-keyboard/faq.html#chargers ). The QC appears to be a Qualcomm "standard" that only is activated when it encounters one of their chipsets that has QC activated https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quick_Charge
So am I correct in thinking that although the outlet is labelled "PD+QC" that it will only present the PD supply to the PinePhone? Also that the correct voltage will be set for the PinePhone?
