Considering all the issues with Braveheart, would really love to see something updated that is available, and upgrade my own BH..

Q is indirectly answered in the Oct news update:

Quote:I’m also happy to let you all know that 3GB/ 32GB PinePhone mainboards will be available in the Pine Store in November
Quote:We also have a little token of appreciation in store for early adopters (Braveheart and UBports CE) owners who wish to upgrade their mainboards, but I won’t spoil the surprise in this post.

Thank You for that "LINK"   !

When I looked at the store I did not see any mainboards available.

I also added the screws to my order,  'Just in Case'

I would have also purchased a usb socket if they were available.

It was mentioned quite a while back that the replacement usb sockets would be in the store,  eventually..?

I put my original Brave Heart order number in the "Notes" box....
I did not see any mention on the order form, but I did read elsewhere, only those with a Brave Heart or UBPorts order number will be accepted..!

NOW my old Brave Heart will be one revision past my PMOS (1.2a) Convergence phones.!

This replacement board is listed as revision 1.2b

So apart from the extra ram and storage, the new board fixes a bunch of power issues from the bh edition? I'm not sure that's enough for me to upgrade. May wait until the usb-c hub turns up on the store.

Todays price is discounted only to the original buyers of the Brave Heart/UBPorts Pine phone.    AND only until early December.
or until this supply runs out.

You Must include your original Pine phone order number on your order form,  or it will be rejected.

yeah, that's correct bcnaz!  On the pine64.com store page, under Pinephone Spare Parts, there are 2 different Community edition mainboard (3GB/32GB) items - one will accept the BH/UBPorts order # and discount the price to 80$ after entering it.

I did see the USB-C board available as well: https://pine64.com/product/pinephone-usb...46c16e2e66

Though it does appear it's not required for the various hardware fixes for BH to get proper USB-C support.

I was considering the usb-c jack just as a spare, should it get broken during use.

I remember replacing phones because the usb jack was not useable.
