| Kodi crashing in Android 9 |

I think that the best retro emulation system is Android with Retroarch, because it runs without the problem, so I installed Android 9 with play store. Everything works except Kodi, it keeps crashing every time I run it. Can anyone confirm that it is not a problem with my RockPro? Maybe I should try older Android?

Hi
As the system is changing constantly at the moment and I often update the image I am looking for a way to backup user data and settings
and restore them once the new image has booted or even before writing the image to the SD card.
E.g. how to backup and restore:
- WiFi set up via the Posh UI
- call logs
Thanks and regards

| GPIO as raspberry's one |

Hello everybody,
I have an application written in electron for raspberry. Without going too deep, it's just set on/off some GPIO output at some predeterministic time.
I just bought a PINE A64-LTS, installed last armbian verson and ported the application, which start just fine.
My problem is now the gpio configuration, with raaspberry I use pigpio package (https://github.com/fivdi/pigpio), I was wondering if there is a similar library to use/manage gpio in electron framework.
thanks a lot for any good advice

does anyone know why certain packages aren't compiled for aarch64 but are for eg. armv7? I want to install rofi, but it's only available on armv7. there's no place to comment or feature request on the alpine packages site, the only option is to flag out of date, which the packages aren't.

Cannot set Firefox or Calendar as default applications |

In the "settings -> default applications" menu, I can't choose "firefox" in the "web" dropdown (in fact, I can't choose anything), and so links from other applications open with the text editor. similarly, "text editor" is selected as "calendar", and it's the only option, despite having Calendar installed.
Is this a known issue? If not, where should I report it? And lastly: can these settings be changed from the command line?

| How hard to replace screen? |

Well, I already managed to drop my Pinephone about 2 feet onto a plastic chair mat and the lower left part of the screen cracked. (The soft case either didn't protect it or prevented worse damage, hard to say which.) It actually is not that bad as the crack is mostly in the blacked out part of the bottom, but it will probably spread and seeing as how replacement LCD panels are available for only $30 I figure it should be replaced. I searched for a guide but didn't find one. How tough a job is this? (I'm pretty comfortable taking various types of equipment apart and putting them back together.)
Edit: After kicking myself for dropping the thing I've taken a closer look. Fortunately although one leg of the crack spread across the screen diagonally it does not affect the image or touch. Really if you were not looking for the crack you'd barely notice it. Still, I was about to buy some accessories anyway so I added a replacement screen to my cart and ordered it. I've checked that I have a precision screwdriver small enough for the tiny screws and am set there.
Would love to hear from anyone who has replaced their screen as to the procedure. Searching all I've found are some references saying it's not difficult. I see there are 11 screws around the perimeter of the case, I assume those all have to come out. There are also 3 screws down the center, do those get removed also? What do I need to look out for when taking this all apart?
