board not working with EMMC |

I etrched (EMMC) OS onto EMMC using Pine64 EMMC/USB adapter.
power light and ethernet light came on only. Waited 10 minutes..nothing else.
I etched microsdxc system booted lights on both ends lit up appropriately..
I re-imaged EMMC, removed SD attached EMMC and same as 1sst time. No boot. only lights were at power and ethernet (no lights on other end even, again) no boot after long wait.
I am DISABLED. I ordered the entire 4GBPro and all components available in August. I received ln "LATER SHIPMENT".
I HAD MEDICAL ISSUES DUE TO DISABILITY AND ""ONLY"" now was I aable to unpackage and start to get the RockPro64 up and going.
By the above issues to me atleast it sounds as if the EMMC is potentially a bad one if BOARD runs off SD.
Outside of 30 days / but due to medical delay, can I get permission to return/swap out EMMC?
Most Humble appreciation for your time and consdieration.
i am dedicated to your RockPro64 product. Once I get this one up and running as super efficient desk unit for me, I have other real projects requireing 10-12 more Units with all components being used as many different key projects. I want RockPro64 as my (backbone) to everything I set up and run.

Install OS on RAID1 thanks to dual SATA board? |

Hello,
Let's say I buy this list
ROCKPro64 4GB Single Board Computer
ROCKPro64 12V 5A EU POWER SUPPLY
ROCKPro64 PCI-e to Dual SATA-II Interface Card
ROCKPro64 Metal Desktop/NAS Casing
Fan for ROCKPro64 Metal Desktop/NAS casing
16GB CLASS10 MICROSD CARD
and two SSD drive
How can I install armbian on a RAID1 of these two drives?
I understood that these two drives can't boot. I need to flash the SDcard with armbian installer (https://www.armbian.com/rockpro64/) and I'll always have to boot from SDcard.
However, I think it's better to install and use the system from SSD because it's safer (Sdcard don't last long) and SSD have more capacity and they would be in RAID1 (so safer also)
So, how can I boot from SDcard but have armbian system installed on SATA and specifically on RAID1 (2 SSD)?
Do you know tutorials (text or video) explaining how to reach to this situation?
- How to create RAID1 for 2 SATA drive connected to ROCKPro64 through the ROCKPro64 PCI-e to Dual SATA-II Interface Card?
- How to install armbian system to this RAID1 from the micro SDcard plugged in the ROCKPro64?
Now a side question : as we are talking about SATA-II, I guess the speed of SSD doesn't really matter as it is SATA-II which will limit the speed?

Hi,
I'm pretty new with the ROCKPro64.
I want to build a lowcost Networkanalyzer for PLC networks. For this reason i want be able to use different desktop adapters.
My Plan is to install Ubuntu on the ROCKPro64 and plug in my Network Adapter on the PCIe.
But im not shure if this will work.
Does any one have some experience with uising the PCIe on the ROCKPro for Ethernet?
Thx in advance Q

Hey,
Currently whenever i try to modify anything about my current pipeline apart from directly outputting it it crashes. The crash happens with things like using Videomixer, textoverlay or whenever i try to decode jpegs.
this is my current pipeline (eddited out some info from the url, it works) that works, any edits within it crashes.
gst-launch-1.0 rtspsrc location=rtsp://@192.168.178.40:554/ latency=0 ! decodebin ! input-selector ! videoconvert ! rkximagesink

this is the usual type of error i receive.
Are there any fix to this?

Rock64 v3 and SD-Cards |

I have seen many problems with the Rock64 v3 in the last few days.
Many customers have told me that existing Rock64 images suddenly no longer boot in v3.
We have verified this and found that apparently v3 can not cope with many SD cards. The booting of eMMC goes without problems.
If a customer has bought a new v3 and nothing works, contact us, we will send you an emmc card for the purchase price without any profit.

freeze on multiple image from wiki |

Hi,
I just received my board and tested a few linux images (all the ones with a desktop) but faced the same issue with every single one. the OS would randomly freeze when I use it. I assumed it was caused by asking too much so I installed the fan service found on the forum and made sure to do basic tasks but it keep freezing. If I leave the board running without doing anything it seem to be fine though.
I have the full NAS set (from the pine shop):
- RockPro64 (4gb)
- NAS case
- PCI E 2x SATA
- 30cm headsink
- Case fan
- 32Gb SC / 32 Gb EMMC
- Air Mouse
- ROCKPro64 12V 5A power supply
I think I listed it all.
I have plugged everything so the issue could be the HDD pulling too much power though as I don't do anyrthing with them other than having them plugged I guess this is not the issue.
Have anyone faced a similar issue? Any expert that would know where to check what is going on? I have some programming experience but i'm new to linux!
My current project is to make a media player / NAS connected to a projector.
Thank you for your help & Time!
