Menu / Panel Emergency
Well, I managed to do it...
I was looking at Panel themes and I picked one of the three choices that the system didn't like me picking and my panel completely went away. It took the start menu with it so I have no access to anything now.
I have no idea how to bring the panel or the star menu back!
Totally dead in the water here.
I managed to get it back. I have very little experience with Mate. I didn't realize that the panel was just empty and I could right-click it and add stuff back in. There is something wonky though in that that mate-tweak where it completely resets panel when you switch panel layouts from and to the "rock-tweak" setting.
