How do we get support for incompatible apps in the play store
#1
Like the title says, what is the process for getting support for apps in the play store that say they aren't compatible with the device? Would love things like Inbox by Google and some others. Do I just need to send device product model to the developer or is there more than that to it?

This is i know the problem , because pine64 is tablet pc , so you download google store software don't support this tablet pc  , can't fix !

Note : This is not pine64 problem , is tablet pc
If I am wrong please correct my content , thank !

1. Use Pine64 Running Ubuntu 16.04 Web Server ( LAMP )

2. Use Pine64 Running Official Android 6  for Media player
3. Use Pine64 Running Volumio Digital Audio Player

If the new android image have root access you could download the app "market helper" and spoof the pines ID to google store. (You will need to push the downloads to the pine throu the play store in a web browser and choose the pine (its new ID))
I have done this with my Samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition and can confirm that it works.

It need ROOT ACCESS to work thou...

Am hoping to avoid rooting. Want this to just work without dealing with fixing stuff after every update

I tried to download "Inbox by Gmail" from PlayStore and it told me that it's not compatible. So I downloaded it from apkmirror (the arm 64bits version) and it works very well Wink

I think you can do something similar on other apps.

I just extracted the inbox apk from my phone (Galaxy S6) and sideloaded it and it works perfectly fine.

That is one way to do it if you dont want to root your pine, but personally I DONT trust apks from every site on the web.

Aother sollution would be (if yoj have a rooted phone or tablet) to use tools like LuckyPatcher and backup the apk from the phone/tablet and then just copy it and install it on your Pine
