Hi everyone,
I’ve been using my PinePhone (Manjaro with Phosh) for a couple of weeks, and overall I’m really enjoying experimenting with it. However, I noticed that the battery drains very quickly, even when the phone is idle with the screen off. Sometimes it loses more than 20–25% overnight without me touching it.
Is this level of battery drain considered normal on PinePhone with Manjaro/Phosh, or might I have a configuration issue? Are there recommended tweaks (kernel parameters, disabling certain services, etc.) to improve standby time? Would switching to another distro (Mobian, PostmarketOS, etc.) make a noticeable difference in power management?
I’m still new to Linux phones, so any tips or experiences would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance!
