New PinePhone Pro fails...
#1
I have a PinePhone for three years and it still functions well. The battery is now doing less well, but it is still doable with a simple power bank. In addition, there is no damage and the screen does not have a single scratch.

Now I have a PinePhone Pro for a week, but after a few days it stopped working on the phone and sound. The SIM card works properly, so it is something with the software or hardware. In addition, the battery drains quite quickly.

I never used Postmarket OS. I have read many great things about it. I personally use Arch with Phosh.

What applications have you installed? Like waydroid?
Did you manage to set/unset the default sleep time?

Battery Life for my PinePhone Pro:
In suspend mode, the battery drops maybe 10% per 4 hours.
With screen ON and texting or emailing, it drops maybe 15% per hour.

Have you tried replacing the battery with a new one? Batteries don't hold a charge as well as they get older. It could be that you're on the tail end of the useful lifetime of that battery you have.
