pinephone with lte-m chip and volte.

i'm not seriously proposing anything based on lte-m at this point. putting new model is already a design problem.

because battery life is bad as something in pinephone (pro). could lte-m based chip alleviate power usage? of course volte (voice over lte) needs to work for this case. lte-m data speeds are somewhere around 1Mbit/s, meaning that there are slow. frequency band support might be reduced as well. do people have some knowledge on this issue?

what i know, cpu is the biggest waster of battery for pinephone and pro. modem chip is the second waster. so the reduction of power usage is probably not big.
