Shipping Alternatives for USA customers

I was looking into buying a ROCK64-2GB to create a retro gaming system but I am currently put off by the huge $24 shipping costs to California, USA. Will there be low cost shipping alternatives in the future?

I think the shipping is reasonable, considering the logistics involved. It costs what it costs, how bad do you really want it?

$24 for shipping is expensive. Besides plenty of shops offer free shipping past a certain cost. And I do not really need it if it's not going to deliver on being as good for retro games as the Raspberry Pi 4B is.

Please recheck. There are two shipping options, standard shipping (11.99 $) and courier shipping (24.00 $). Unless you need it very urgently, you can select standard shipping. Cheaper than the 12 $ is probably not possible for the Pine Store, as most Pine devices are sold close to production cost and shipping costs whatever the shipping company wants to have.

Maybe you can get them to raise the price $24 just for you so you can have free shipping.

In case you were wondering, that's how free shipping works. The highest cost of shipping is included in the price, and the seller just makes more profit when the actual cost of shipping is less than that.
