Absolutely. That is why I use a "burner" handset for it . That is switched off 99% of the time.
I figure businesses are likely to be league-tabled on their patrons use of their codes and I want to be a good patron: I am happy for big brother to know that I had my hair cut, I am less happy he should know how I got there. But that digresses from the topic.
