Customizing the ringtone

As I found it a bit confusing how the ringtone to be played is determined, I wrote up my experiences. So you ever want to customize the ringtone on Mobian or PureOS, the linked blog post might be of help. It tells you how to use the terminal to change sound themes, but be aware that there is no simply app to do that for you at the moment.

Also be sure your audio file(s) are OK! I got thrown for a loop getting this to work but it turned out the audio file I was using for the ringtone was corrupted. After replacing that with a valid file I now have the Jetsons' doorbell sound as my Pinephone ringtone.
