I can confirm that it works fine on my on CE Pinephone's eMMC . resizing works, too.

By the way, I think it more convenient and secure to try it on the eMMC, since you can still have your own main OS on the microSD and it will never interfere with your tests, even if all eMMC operating systems get compromised.

The image size is the same, despite the addition on 4 new postmarket OS variants. Smile

Thank you, will try it soon. This is magic!

Is this available to test somewhere? Am I just asking too early in the morning without enough caffeine to figure it out myself? I checked the first post and your website and blog . . .

And thanks for all your hard work. I'd be showing this off to my friends, but I haven't seen them in months . . .

To my knowledge there is only an older version available by torrent.
I suggested that it would be much easier for users it the completed image(s) were available at some download site like pastebin.

Pastebin max upload is 0.5MiB, this is 5.8GiB.

I mean sharing big files is not exactly simple.

New version is in the works. p-boot can now select the right DTB for braveheart automatically, and I just want to test the distros with SIM inserted, to see if calls work. Then write a better webpage/installation guide, and then figure out where to upload the 5.8GiB image.

I may try to upload it to github, but it will have to be split to several smaller files... or I'll just create a torrent again.

I can provide web hosting for the file if you'd like - send me a PM and let me know and I'll spin up a server for your use.

Sorry that I did not check details with pastebin.
I just signed up for a free trial account at pcloud.com who advertises 10GB space.

At https://www.techradar.com/reviews/google...or-g-suite they say that Google too offers free accounts of this size, but I did not try.

I am convinced that many silent readers would like to try your most recent image if access is simpler.

Actually torrenting is pretty simple.

Transmission will do for a client. On Manjaro, check this post to choose a specific package to install:
https://classicforum.manjaro.org/index.p...9#msg45359

Quote:Transmission for GTK+ GUI (Gnome, Mate, Xfce, LXDE, etc): sudo pacman -S transmission-gtk
Transmission for Qt GUI (KDE, Razor, etc): sudo pacman -S transmission-qt
Transmission for CLI (terminal): sudo pacman -S transmission-cli
How to find the name of the package you need: pacman -Ss transmission

Likewise on Debian, the packages are transmission-gtk, transmission-qt and transmission-cli, so sudo apt-get install the one you need.

Then click the torrent link from this thread:
https://megous.com/dl/tmp/0b32272c297f80...40.torrent

Firefox says,
Quote:What should Firefox do with this file?
(o) Open with Transmission (default)
...

Do eet.

In the Torrent Options dialog that comes up, leave "Start when added" checked and hit Open, and it should start downloading.

Next read this,
https://superuser.com/questions/1053414/...n-torrents

and consider opening an inbound port for Transmission on your router.

I'd much rather torrent than put up with all the garbage that file-locker sites add to try to make downloading harder.
