Mouse pointer sensitivity

Has anybody found the perfect setting for the mouse pointer using the touchpad? It's very sensitive and hard to use.

Let me just add that what I'm looking for is to change the sensitivity when the pointer is on any icon or button. It seems to move quickly and it's hard to click.

I'm using the Manjaro shipped PBP and I don't have Sensitivity controls in the system settings.
The pointer motion settings that seem to work for me (pic):

"MtnSk8" - Yeah, reducing the Pointer Motion Speed Minimum to the lowest setting appears to help. Thanks!

I suggest you update the firmware, the one that shipped from the factory was garbage, since then some hackers have managed to improve it quite a lot: https://github.com/jackhumbert/pinebook-...rd-updater

would this update also apply to the units that shipped in May 2020? What are some of the issues that this firmware is addressing?

I'm not aware of what state the factory firmware has been since I got mine in January. The main bug it fixes is that the touchpad doesn't report its dimensions correctly.

Thanks. I don't think I'm experiencing any of these issues described in the new firmware update. My issue was just with sensitivity of the pointer which got resolved by just reducing the pointer motion minimum speed all the way down. Now I'm wondering if the units shipped in May 2020 (Manjaro) have a different keyboard/touchpad firmware.
