Which software and audio interface did you use?
I'm used a 2nd gen Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 with a Focusrite Clarette connected via ADAT and wordclock BNC and a Behringer Ultramatch  connected via SPDIF and wordclock BNC.  It's actually a little difficult to get to the full 18! I used Ardour from the Manjaro Package manager. I was surprised with the relative ease of setup. I had to finagle things in Ubuntu to get it working. With this it was way easier. Could have been I knew more if what I was doing, but with way. I'm pleased.
