I just contacted them if its possible to change the destination to my switzerland address. Then i do not have a problem when the device comes in a week or four. I hope thats possible, but i fear it won't when they even have no CE certification for EU. Hope dies last Wink

And this should apply not only for Germany but for the whole EU, which is why the community should be quiet about it (we should be quiet about VAT and the like, too, but that is another story).

I even got a pm to the post in which I was asked to edit/reword it by someone who "has no connection to pine64", but that someone disabled private messaging, so I could not contact him, in order to request evidence that smartphones do not need CE-Mark within EU. After all I may be wrong and would reword my post respectively.

I know a thing or two about German law and how it's applied but i will not discuss how to break it with anyone. And neither should anyone else. It's really that simple.
