Inserting MicroSD

I feel foolish for asking, but the MicroSD card won't stay in inserted.  There's no "click" and it doesn't stay inserted.  While it's manually held, I can see it's recognized as /dev/mmcblk0p1.   What obvious thing am I missing?

I just want to reflash the emmc with a distro that works.

Are you pushing it in far enough? It is rather finicky to do and I especially find it very hard if I've clipped my nails recently. I suppose one could fashion a tool to make it easier.

You have to push it in completely. Just in case your slot is broken, have a pair of tweezers ready.

I have issues inserting mine almost always after recently trimming my fingernails. I'll often have to angle my thumbnail to fit the rounded notch just to get enough of a push to get it to click in or out.

Have the same problem, then I just use another microSD or SD card adapter to insert it

I use a large paper clip.

Thanks.  I got it.  I had to press in and down to get it to stick.  [Sigh] It's the little things in life...
