Any news when it will be available and the expected price? We might buy hundreds of those cameras if price is cheap Smile

We are current change the camera module due to previous module doesn't have opens source driver. This new CUBE board back on next week and hopefully able to bring up successfully. The new camera module is Omnivision OV5640 5MPixel and CUBE price still maintain at $19.99. If next week hardware is good for production, we will introduce on Q4 2019.

Nice! A $20 opensource PoE camera sounds like a unicorn. Will this have any sort of community pre-order options similar to the PINEBOOK Pro?

No need for pre-order. Once ready in Q4, 2019, we will post at PINE store.

Good to hear that the camera will become a stock item and not a mad scramble. Smile

Will you have any UK distributors for cameras - (and possibly Pinebook Pro parts)?

I'd love to get a bunch of these cameras but the import fees would scupper any "reasonable" cost of the cameras themselves. Sad

(unless they can be marked down to $1 on the address label  Angel )

Awesome!!! I'll keep my eyes posted in the upcoming news letters for any further updates. Hopefully Ameridroid will pick some up in the states but I can always order from the Pine shop as well.

What resolution, frame rate, and bit rates will this support local recording at?

Will they be time sync-able?

It's been a few months, any news on this? I've been holding out on it because I'd like an open source hackable camera rather than another Foscam or going with Wyze or something else.

There is an issue on the new spin PCB and current try to sort out. Once sort out, we will resume back CUBE project and release on Q1.
