Chromium?

i've read that widevine can not be implemented on chromium without hardware acceleration. best bet would be to use android and install chrome because chrome has native widevine code. this is not to say netflix will run because , if reports here in the forum are any indication, it may or may not. i've read that some people get it working but it's a problem for most.

thanks for the attempt. apparently i missed something while reading about widevine. hopefully there will be a fix for vvideo on linux soon. I dont care for android and dont intend to use it anytime soon. feels like an iphone had a cartoon baby with some additional features.

I may have an idea to get it to work ... but even so I doubt it will be a pleasure to use

Just getting it working at all is a step in the right direction, it doesnt only involve netflix. Hulu, amazon video, and many others use similar services to run in the browser. Just sucks these companies havent done anything for arm devices outside android devices.

If I can help please let me know. Willing to learn/test/help in any way I can.
