Add additional modules before you ship the PINE A64

I have pre ordered one 2GB unit. I need to add a wifi module to it, Also i want to buy 4 more boards with wifi modules. will the upgrade also apply to preordered ones too?

If you mean the 2GB RAM upgrade, I would presume you can choose four extra 2GB Pines and five WiFi modules, yes. That should not be a problem (board limit is 10).

You need some sort of 5v 2a micro usb power supply and a hdmi cable. That's it.

If you want WiFi and/or Bluetooth, you could get the combined WiFi/Bluetooth module, but the Pine does have an Ethernet port built-in, so if you're happy with that, all you need is the power supply and hdmi. 

(Note that the necessary power supply utilises more current than the average smartphone/tablet charger can provide)

Well, it probably depends on what else you have lying around.

If you don't have other 2 amp USB 2.0 power supplies with a micro-USB cable already, you probably want the 2A international power supply. Note, some so-called smart USB chargers will only deliver 2A of power if they recognize the phone that is connected. Otherwise, they will only deliver the 500mA that the USB 2.x standard requires.

Unless you have your own HDMI display and don't need the touch screen support, you probably want the 7" LCD touchscreen display.

Unless you were going to connect your pine64 to the internet via wired ethernet, you probably want the bluetooth/wifi add-on card. You might be able to use existing USB wifi or bluetooth adapters, but I don't think the pine64 team has released which ones are compatible.

From other posts, the 8000mAh battery might not be available, as it is getting harder to ship these batteries due to various devices catching fire. If you want to run it on battery support, you might find a cell phone USB charger battery with at least 8000mAh that can deliver 2A of power from a vendor that ships to your area.

Whether you want the camera, air mouse remote, basic media remote, or the various cases depends on what you want to do with your pine64.

The real time clock battery module is only needed if you plan to use the pine64 without connecting it to the network, particularly if you are going to be running on batteries.

You might want to pick up a USB mouse/keyboard if you don't have extras lying around. A powered USB 2.0 hub might also be useful to allow you to connect multiple USB devices and/or use higher powered devices.

The camera module will work fine with the $89 pledge. The only pledge level it won't work with are the $15 and $5 pledge, as these lower levels do not have the necessary interface onboard to support the camera module.

The $89 tier reward level will work with the camera module.
