I received a shipping status update on Aug 25th, saying "order #8164910 have now been shipped", but according to the tracking info, USPS is still awaiting the item.

Any information regarding this delay would be appreciated.

Hmm, two weeks lead time does seem like a long wait before shipping status is updated. 

You might want to try sending a friendly enquiry in the direction of TL Lim and seeing if he can provide any further details on this. You can PM him here.

Include your name, shipping address, order number, tracking number, along with any other information you think is pertinent.
