in Beta 13 the desktop will always be configured with Halycon Layout after a restart and the wallpaper will always default to what beta 13 came with. You can change your settings but after restart they will be gone.

now tried unstable where the Layoiut cannot even be accessed. Shows a blank screen instead. Maybe that's better so we know it does not work. But then, I don't like Halycon. Sure that could also be changed in terminal.

yesterday installde dosme updates but Halycon still keeps coming back and desktop images still do not stay. I tried latest unstable and there it seems to work ok. But else, it is unstable probably.

now Beta 14 is out in Github, but Discover nor pacman -Syyu will update yet.

now I don't quite understand how we can find a beta14 factory image on Github but my pinephone does not update anything.

Probably the image will be published after the updates have been made available for the previous image...

thank you - hopefully after additional testing! What gets published on GitHub makes not always a running system. I tried without luck Factory Image 202212201610.

there was a update yesterday, but desktop sitll will always boot with *halycon* and not save *folio* nor any desktop image. Also, it has a sleep problem, crashes instead of wake up ;(

new updates are in but still plasma crashes when switching the desktop to *folio*. The part setting of a lockscreen image works, but after unlock the phone goes back to Halycon and it's default desktop decoration.
