Clearly they were engineers and not business men. Pretty clueless about supply chain, logistics and fulfillment and then the whole communication fiasco.
I agree if I was informed that ordering a plastic case would hold my order for several months I would have opted to not to do it. This had to be a known issue, same with touch screen, and other components. I completely understand that these things take time, how isn't the Pine64 didn't or at least communicate it to clients. That is on the team. Simple rule of business don't sell what you don't have, the bad will created will ultimately determine the future of Pine64. Yeah people are upset but they have a right to be. Again an non business attitude is they will just have to wait. In business anyone can sell something once.
