Frustration with development pace

Stop bashing PMOS. Without their devs we wouldn't have a camera. And the modem not working reliably isn't their fault. Quectel is the culprit here.

if you mean me, I never bashed them. however, there has been a known bug with the audio stack that every few seconds makes a quiet, high pitched sound that has never been addressed. should we thank the devs for never fixing this?

I'm currently using pmOS, I just prefer Arch based distros because the package management system is superior. Alpine Linux tries to make some sort of middle ground between apt and makepkg/PKGBUILDs that fails in both directions. as much as I detest debian's package management systems, they are objectively better than Alpine's

@daniel, I don't consider my pinephone to be daily driver ready, as I've mentioned previously, which is why I keep a backup phone with me. if I considered it to be daily driver ready, I would only carry the pinephone
