Every phone I have ever owned has gotten warm. Hot even and I'm pretty old since I was around before cellphones.
That's what happens with the high powered chips of today and the passive cooling requirements of phones.
Barring damage to the battery, I just don't see the "omg it will bust into flames," I am a bit skeptical as like I said I have seen this site spammed all over Reddit and other forums. Some aspects are valid, some are definitely intended to scare and are unlikely.
Don't get me wrong. Should there be checks, absolutely. But this isn't a grenade waiting to happen.
