There is a choice of the standard model 2gb of ram and 16gb of storage on the eMMC. $149.99
The Convergence Package model has 3gb of ram and 32gb of storage on the eMMC. $199.99
  The Convergence Package also comes with a 'docking log'

But the 16gb eMMC reads up to 88mb/s
  the 32gb eMMC reads up to 65mb/s

So there are positives and negatives to both models.

S.D. cards read about 23mb/s

I found the read speeds through a link here on the forum, in another thread.

Now the choice is yours to make.

Perfect reply; thanks. As I was reading it, I only noticed the docking log as the differences.. so I appreciate you explaining exactly what the differences are.

I wonder if, at a later time, you can switch out the 32gb slower eMMC for the faster 16gb if you choose... or, I wonder if there will ever be larger sized eMMCs that run at the faster rate.

Either way, I think I should order the $199 option as it'll give me more space to play and better options at connecting and playing with the hardware. However, I appreciate your help kind sir [or ma'am].

The eMMC is not socket ed   so ''not much chance'' to swap that.
  I do not say impossible as someone may have the correct tools and skills to do that,
but for  'most of us'   it would be   "impossible". 

  I was surprised at the speed difference, I just found that information myself a day ago.
   I have not seen an official Pine spec., but the source I believe to be very knowledgeable.
