Phone calls on New PMOS Community Edition phones

Has anyone succeeded in using the new PMOS Community Edition Pine phone to place or receive phone calls or to send & receive sms/text ?

Using the Factory installed operating system...?

Using an alternative operating system... ?

If so what carriers have been tested and working ?

I got Tracfone (T-Mobile compatible) working with calls, text, and data in Phoenix, AZ. Voice quality is meh, but everything seems to work. I got so excited that I made a thread about it. I've only tried PMOS so far, but will try Mobian over the weekend if I have time.
