Thank you really much! The kernel was not installed but I could install it and now the proper one is used. The application itself works fine. Thanks again!
EDIT: never mind the below, after a dist-upgrade it got resolved
Different topic, or off topic: this did not solve the camera, is there any other kernel or image version I should use to get that working too?
