What I neglected to mention there was that I did not explicitly ask in the original support inquiry as to whether I will be able to keep my place in the first production batch, although I mentioned the situation in the Special Instructions form on the new order.
I figured they are probably dealing with enough logistics and curveballs as it is, so I just left it at that when I realized my slip. (I really hope I am still in the first batch, though. The anticipation is KILLING me >_< )
That is, to recap:
- BEFORE first batch order cutoff, I placed original order.
- AFTER cutoff, I inquired about canceling and re-ordering with DHL shipping (and FORGOT TO ASK about whether I can keep my place in first batch dispatch).
