Have you tried running the command in post before yours? I haven't had a chance yet. We’ve certainly stumbled across something we should submit as an issue, but it's hard to tell what.

It looks like you have a different issue to the original on this thread, which was related to DBus configuration.
Maybe try submitting a bug on the GNOME bug tracker:
