FWIW, I got my 2 gig board last week, and was waiting on Ubuntu to drop. Burned the card last night, booted it, used gparted to expand the filesystem, and it's been running flawlessly since then. No video problems - have it connected to a ViewSonic 27" HD monitor with straight HDMI. I'm using a SanDisk class 10 32 gig SD card. The only problem I've run into is that it doesn't seem to support CIFS filesystems, so I can't mount my home directory from my NAS. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with it. Powering it from an Anker 10 port 8A USB power supply.
Cheers,
