Just install it and in the setting option you may choose to add function keys. It works in other arm soc debian based distro I just don't know if it works in postmarketOS, after all it is based on apline. About other distributions, I was testing also Ubuntu Touch but, for me, postmarketOS is the most functional by now (others than these two are by far behind). In fact, Touch has an ugly bug that make applications to go black after a while.
I am still not making calls as I am working the phone more as a remote terminal. I will wait for them to work a little more on that part.
... in general think about the general level about arriving to alpha state (not yet there) ...
And Linux (the kernel) by itself works really well as the OS has been very stable on ARM platform for several years by now.
