A development I find exciting: Andrius Štikonas documented how to boot RockPro64 without any binary blobs and with the ARM Trusted Firmware built from source. In the process he modified the default baud rate from the serial console to match the one used by the Linux kernel, which might help prevent some of the issues people have been having with unreadable output.
