login to GUI desktop hangs when PCIe SSD is plugged in
#1
I'm running Ubuntu 18.04  and have updated and upgraded everything.  If I plug in the PCIe card for my nvme SSD, boot up, everything works fine.  I can run mongo on the nvme drive no problem.

As long as I don't log in ( to the desktop gui ), the system seems to work fine.

Or, if I remove the PCIe card and reboot, I can log in to the GUI desktop.

The problem only happens when
1.) PCIe nvme card is plugged in,  and
2.) I log in to the GUI desktop.

Thoughts?
