pinebook 14" sd card slot stopped working

it could possibly be, an outside chance, that the metal tabs of the sd card slot are not making good enough contact with the card itself. the solution that once helped me on a different device was to use fine long tweezers to gently lift up each tab just a very little bit and then try it and repeat a few times until that possibility either works or not. not sure if you can get clear shot at the tabs on the pinebook or not but be very careful in any mod.
