My 6p, if you are not planning SATA (or something else) for the PCIe, and you are planning Linux, is go NVMe. Plenty of used modules on Fleabay from folks upgrading laptops at better prices than eMMC. Even new 2nd tier ones are competitively priced compared to eMMC. And performance is order of magnitude better. It does require some investment learning all the specs/jargon and seems scary but I did, and am so glad I did.
Good idea! Thank you very much!
Maybe can Android also support it?
