Raspberry/Pi was released few years ago and is still not fully supported in mainline kernel (nevermind 1/2/0/3). There are SBCs which have mainline kernel support for everything which is present on board - check AllWinner ones, Texas Instruments, Freescale etc.
Debian, Fedora support over 100 ARM boards with mainline kernels. R/Pi is not there.
And you call it 'the best'...
Pine64 is still in a queue to most of it's users and patches (done by external devs) to get it supported are already on a way to mainline kernel.
