I use SD instead of eMMC, but i assume upgrading with OTG is the same. Has anyone tried it and the google account is still signed in?
I have Stock Rom, what is the difference to the community build? Can i also flash the community build over the Stock Rom without loosing the google signing in status?
Stock ROM is the OS build based on software SDK that provided by SoC vendor. The community build O comes from community developers. In general, the community build update frequency is higher than stock build. When you flash the community build over stock one or vice-versa, this like fresh installation and all current data will be loss. The good way is build the new OS on second SD card first and check out whether you likes the experience, and then decide.
