Center pic, the jokes on me, the scissor jack for the menu key on the original keyboard module runs horizontal; the jack on the replacement keyboard module runs vertical -- rats; can't swap out the two keytops -- mechanically impossible !
Its all good. The unit went back together without any snags; didn't even lose a fastener ! Power-up and initial keyboard checkout ran smooth, no problema, and things seem to be working.
The best part, I can type lickety-split ! ... no keypress misses what-so-ever !
Future Pinebooks need the old style keyboard ! ( hint hint )
Note: Now to do a full functional test and checkup; that will take a while longer.
