Rock64 has not Ethernet LAN

Just to confirm - something must have changed from pre-production board (where I am getting networking to work just fine) to production board, where I too cannot connect to my lan or the internet. No activity on the LEDs. I already pointed it out to ayufan in the chat. As a side note, I think its tied to the issue with 2 eth connections appearing in Linux (something not present on pre-pro unit).

Actually lukasz, its the other way round.  The two eth0 & eth1 are showing up on the new build 0.4.16 on the pre pro unit !!   ... and not the production board.  

My production board xenial-minimal 0.4.16 had one eth0;   my pre pro unit has two eth0 & eth1;  both with the same mac addy ( addy bug ) but the eth1 is clearly the internal 10|100 PHY.  The eth0 is the Gbe PHY .
