Tkaiser is one of there main guys
"With more capable SSDs and USB Attached SCSI we now get 380MB/s and network performance with Linux is 940 Mbits/sec in both directions. ROCK64 is the fastest SBC for NAS use cases currently around. Some details especially in the posts below: https://forum.openmediavault.org/index.p...post148428"
The comments on CNX also have quite a bit of additional info.

We know : tkaiser is a regular in the chat and a mod in OMV - so hes got personal interest in the matter and insight. Useful and valuable posts - good thing you shared them on here.
Should I be saying "Is that you luke" as the SoC force is with that one.
Been reading TKaiser comments for a while and much appreciated.
and if he doesn't use the word 'crap' in one sentence with the name of your product, then you probably did something right
I am still waiting for my Rock64 to turn up and haven't been waiting for long, but full of questions.
Does anyone know which eMMC is supplied with the Rock64 when you order. (part number)
Was doing some checking on say Samsung KLM8G1GEME-B041 eMMC 5.1 flash chip with up to 200/50 MB/s sequential R/W speeds.
That is quite a bit faster than a Class10 SD which may only be 80/20 MB/s say with an Evo+ SD.
But I guess it depends on the eMMC supplied. Is it 4.41, 5.0 or 5.1?
