There is no dual boot mechanism for the pine board ( similar to Grub II ) for the OS versions available atm. Dual boot on the pine board amounts to swapping out the SD card. It is possible to have multiple partitions on a usb stick ( or hdd, ssd ) and have the rootfs on the disk ;  the SD card then boots into the rootfs of choice... a dual boot of sorts.
