update on the status of the outstanding shipments is due?

I believe an official update will be posted in the next day or two... Tl is just awaiting confirmation of shipping details before posting. However, it appears some units have already been displaced.

It would be really great if we could get an official 'voice of Pine' started here.  In other words, someone who has the knowledge of what is really going on, and can speak for parties unable to do so, for various reasons. 

It does seem like the weak link here is our comm link;  especially Western culture, lip service means more to them than actual service (often) and good communication seems like the best way to thwart angry attacks; a lot of times people just want to know what's going on-- its pretty much that simple.
