@MarkHaysHarris777: well actually I did the upgrade - and as my PINE is connected to the internet I don't think that NOT installing OS updates at all is not a very good option for security reasons.
@longsleep: to be mor exact: U usually connect to the pine64 using ssh and I can't do that because no ports are open on the PINE. Last thing I see at the boot screen is "Press Enter for maintenance or "press Control-D to continue". If I press control+D it says "sulogin cannot read /dev/tty1 permission denied", and after a while I get "Press Enter for maintenance (or press Control-D to continue):" again.
If I press enter I get a root command prompt, still no ports open....
