I installed the Camera app from flathub (using the Software app) and it works. The back camera image was inverted for me, but by compiling the 6.16 kernel I see that it's the right way around. Only problem is that there is no focus or exposure setting, and the photos are too dark. QR scanning kid of works but is also very slow/laggy.
